-The war of the words is on between Kourtney Kardashian and Teen Mom's Farrah Abraham. It started when Abraham, 20, slammed Kardashian, 32, who announced Nov. 30 that she is expecting her second child with boyfriend Scott Disick, 28: "Im Shocked Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant again, Did she not learn anything from TEEN MOM? Maybe its a fake pregnancy like kims wedding. SAD." The Kourtney & Kim Take New York star Tweeted back: "Why would I have anything to do with teen mom? I'm 32 years old! I may look young honey, but don't get it twisted. :)"
On Saturday, Abraham took to her Twitter feed to offer a clarification: "4 all who misunderstood: regards to kourtney K.~ I hope she takes her relationship w/her boyfriend more serious 4 their children-takecare
-Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odomhave been named the Happiest Celebrity Couple of 2011by the website Celebuzz.com.According to a market research firm they used, Khloe and Lamar received more positive buzz than any other couple this year. Mentions of them as a couple were 92% positive. And the words and phrases most commonly used to describe them were "love", "happiness", "true love" and "marriage".
Khloe and Lamar weren't the most buzzed-about couple, though. That honor went to Prince Williamand Kate Middletown.
-Madonna will take center stage at halftime of Super Bowl XLVI, flanked by Cirque du Soleil performers in what traditionally is one of the year's most watched shows. The NFL announced Sunday night, in a press release, that the Michigan-born singer would headline the halftime show on February 5, 2012, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The league calls the show "the most-watched musical event of the year," with more than 162 million people tuning in last year in the United States alone.
-A stellar performance wasn't the only thing Demi Lovato gave her fans in Dallas, TX on November 26. During one on-stage number, Lovato was decked out in a vintage-inspired dress with tiers of ruffles and a plunging neckline when her left nipple popped out of the cleavage-baring ensemble.
-Some people thought it would never happen again, but it did: Tiger Woodswon a golf tournament yesterday. He edged Masters champion Zach Johnsonby one shot to win the Chevron World Challenge in Thousand Oaks, California. It was his first victory in 749 days which is just over two years. His last win was the Australian Masters on November 15th, 2009. That was right before the Thanksgiving weekend incident that exposed Tiger as a sufferer of RESTLESS GROIN SYNDROME and destroyed both his marriage and, until yesterday, his career.Asked if the victory was a vindication after the last two years, Tiger said, quote, "It just feels awesome whatever it is. "I've been in contention twice this year, which is not very often. So that's my third chance to win it. I pulled it off this time."
-Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Muellerwas arrested Friday night for cocaine possession and assault in Aspen, Colorado. It started when Brooke allegedly assaulted a woman at a club called Belly Up. Sometime around midnight, cops located Brooke at another club called Escobar. It's not clear how police got her for coke possession. They didn't give up any details. We assume they found something on her while they were either questioning or arresting her for the assault. Brooke was charged with third-degree misdemeanor assault and a felony count of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver. She was released on $11,000 bond and ordered to return to court on the 19th.We don't know if this is true, but RadarOnline.com says Charlie paid Brooke's bond. Supposedly, even her parents refused to help her this time. They wanted to leave her in jail.
-Former Miss USA Rima Fakih may be adding an unfortunate new title to her roster: defendant. Fakih, 26, who captured the Miss USA crown in 2010, is facing drunken driving charges after a weekend arrest in Highland Park, Mich. Fakih Tweeted on Saturday: "Let's clear things up now. ... I'm NOT in Michigan and I'm NOT in jail! Wrong Fakih." But the post has since been removed, and on Sunday her attorney Doraid Elder confirmed the arrest. Elder had few details of the arrest but said Fakih's record "has not a single blemish," adding that the beauty queen is "very saddened and very apologetic for the situation that she's in right now."
In May 2010 Fakih became the first Miss Michigan to win the Miss USA title since 1993 and the first Arab American ever to win the pageant. She competed for Miss Universe later that year but lost.
-This could be a tragedy to some . . . while for others, the best news they've heard all year: DANE COOKdoesn't have any plans to return to standup comedy for the foreseeable future.Dane is more concerned with his movie career right now. His latest film, "Answers to Nothing", opened in some theaters this weekend. He hasn't performed onstage since February, and he hasn't written new material in months.He says, "I don't want to say I've retired, but this is an important time to shift my energy into something new.
"If I'm gonna do stand-up again . . . I respect the art form so much, it's glamorous to me . . . and if I partake in it again, I want to feel like I'm lending something to it."-Dane is also developing a half-hour comedy for NBC . . . which he'll star in. He says, quote, "I'm at that point where it's like, I've done so much with stand-up comedy, and I've taken it everywhere I've wanted to take it."I'd like to be in people's homes. I'd like to reach all of those fans in a way where I don't have to do a two-year tour to get to everybody."
-Conrad Murray is appealing his involuntary manslaughter conviction for the death of Michael Jackson. And apparently, he's doing it without his high-priced legal team. There's a space on the appeal document marked "in pro per" and that's where the attorney is supposed to sign it. But Murray signed his own name there so everyone assumes he's going to represent himself.
-CHRISTIE BRINKLEYis a TAX CHEAT. At least the IRS says she is.
They say she owes $531,000 in back taxes . . . and they just put a lean on her Long Island home in that amount. Not that she should be sweating it. Christie is reportedly worth tens of millions of dollars.Her rep says, quote, "Christie Brinkley was surprised to hear today that a tax lien had been filed, and has instructed her team to resolve the matter immediately."
-There were no new wide releases at the box office this weekend, which allowed "Twilight: Breaking Dawn" to hold onto the top spot for the third week in a row. It made another $16.9 million, which pushes its three-week total to $247 million.As for those two sex-themed flicks, Emily Browning's "Sleeping Beauty" earned $10,400 in just two theaters, and Michael Fassbender's sex addiction movie "Shame" made an impressive $361,000 while playing in only 10 theaters.

-Two contestants were eliminated on "X Factor" last week: 15-year-old ASTRO and 14-year old Drew Ryniewicz. Both were "fan favorites" . . . but apparently, people were ESPECIALLY upset about Drew being cut.
TMZ says it's so intense that PAULA ABDUL and NICOLE SCHERZINGER have received DEATH THREATS on Twitter and Facebook. They voted against Drew, and were the judges responsible for sending her home.
--"Just Dance 3" (E10+) is out this week for Xbox, PS3, and Wii. It includes a new four-player mode with choreography for four people. The track list includes Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous", Cee Lo's "Forget You", and three Katy Perry songs, for a total of 51 dance routines.
