Walk for children With Apraxia of Speech

October 6th, 2013 -

This walk is Kingston's 1st ever walk for Children with Apraxia of Speech. This walk is to raise awareness of this speech disorder and all benefits from this event benefit the CASANA foundation in Pittsburgh, PA. Which is the only foundation solely for Apraxia research and education. This walk is in Honor of my daughter Arianna who has Apraxia of Speech. There will be great Kids games and face painting.  Rascal from the Renegades should be stopping by and there will be a bake sale and Raffle with some amazing prizes. This is our first step towards getting the awareness out there that this disorder does exist and it takes a lot to help those afflicted and their families to get through. Therapy is key but so is support!
