Our first stop on this inagural tour will be Brotherhood Winery, America's Oldest Winery, established in 1839! This is an extraordinary opportunity to experience the perfect blending of a rich historical past with the modern-day present. Located in Washingtonville, Brotherhood Winery holds a countless number of awards for a countless number of their wines. This stop on the tour promises to be a wonderful and educational wine experience!
The second stop on the tour will take us to Marlboro and Stoutridge Winery! Built upon the original foundations of vineyards planted in the late 1700's, this winery was establisted when Theodore Roosevelt was President but was closed due to prohibition. It was also home to a bootleg era distillery that closed in 1956. Fast forward to 2006 when Stoutridge re-opened with the land's history in mind, home to not only a winery, but a brand new distillery which opened this year!
The final stop on our tour will take us down the road to Benmarl Winery in Marlboro! Committed to producing small batch wines that capture the unique character of each vineyard from which they are sourced. Benmarl showcases not only their delicious wine, but a 37 acre estate overlooking the Hudson Valley which is home to the oldest Vineyard in America. With their beautiful estate and award-winning wines, this is the perfect setting to close out K104's inagural Wine Tour!
