Here are the highlights:-The Most-Googled Term this year was "Whitney Houston" . . . followed by "Gangnam Style" and "Hurricane Sandy".Whitney was also the Most-Googled Celebrity, followed by Michael Clarke Duncan and One Direction. And Whitney was the Most-Googled Person, followed by Kate Middleton and Amanda Todd, a Canadian teenager who committed suicide after posting a YouTube video about being bullied.Whitney topped one other list: Most-Googled Deaths. She was followed by astronaut Neil Armstrong and singer Etta James.-TheTop Image Searches were for One Direction . . . followed by Selena Gomez and the iPhone 5. A New Mexico inmate serving life for rape and murder convinced two guys to strangle and castrate Justin Bieber for him. They were supposed to do it last month in New York City. But before they could carry out the plan, the mastermind himself turned them in. They were both arrested. The two men were supposed to murder and castrate four people in total, and were offered $2,500 per testicle.
LINDSAY LOHAN'S probation was officially REVOKED yesterday. And a January 15th hearing has been set to determine whether she'll go to jail. She could get hit with up to 245 days behind bars.-Lindsay was NOT formally charged for lying to police about her car accident last June. That's expected to happen at the January 15th hearing.
The chaos surrounding 14-year-old "Modern Family" star ARIEL WINTER calmed down a little bit yesterday. Or maybe it just got worse.-A deal was reached under which Ariel's dad Glenn Workman was given control over Ariel's finances. Meanwhile, Ariel's sister Shanelle Gray will continue to be her guardian.-Ariel's mother Chrystal remains completely cut off. For now. There'll be a hearing in March to decide whether to keep things this way permanently. In the meantime though, the family also agreed to get COUNSELING.Ariel was placed in her sister's custody back in October, due to claims that her mom was physically and verbally abusive.
Thyroid surgery left BROOKE BURKE with a scar across her neck. But it also left her WITHOUT CANCER. She says, quote, "I just got the results back from all of my tests and great news . . . the thyroid cancer has been removed from my body and all my lymph nodes are clear. So I'm hoping that this is the end of the story."

In a new poll by Today.com, 46% of women say they watch reality TV "because they like seeing how people with money, fame and status live their lives." Only 26% of men said they get a kick out of that. 72% of women claim they watch reality TV because they're BORED. Only 60% of men say the same.
For a while now, there's been talk about stopping advertisers from jacking up the volume on their commercials . . . and now it's finally happening.-Congress recently passed something called the CALM Act, which requires ads to remain within just two decibels of the programming around them.-The rule went into effect last night at midnight.

Lindsay Lohan is on the verge of losing expensive designer clothes, family heirlooms and potentially embarrassing items ... because she hasn't paid her storage bill and as a result the unit is about to go up on the auction block.

TMZ broke the story, the couple filed jointly for divorce in an Alaskan court ... which means they have fully settled their property and custody issues, including child support for their 1-year-old daughter.According to the doc, Track rakes in $42,800 a year -- and has agreed to pay $642 a month in child support. Track and Britta have agreed to split any other child-related expenses, including medical and travel. Britta gets physical custody, and will share legal custody with Track.

KESHA'S latest disc, "Warrior", opened at #6 with 85,000 copies . . . and "Here's to the Good Times" from the country duo FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE moved 63,000 copies in 10th place.
