ANNE HATHAWAY discussed her little wardrobe malfunction on the "Today" show yesterday morning.  She said, quote, "It was devastating.  They saw everything.  I might as well have lifted up my skirt for them." She also said the photo was disappointing for two reasons . . . quote, "I was very sad that we live in an age when someone takes a picture of someone in a vulnerable moment and rather than delete it and do the decent thing, sells it.-"And I'm sorry that we live in a culture that commodifies sexuality of unwilling participants, which brings us back to 'Les Mis', because that's what my character is."She is someone who is forced to sell sex to benefit her child because she has nothing and there's no social safety net."

Google has released its massive list of all the most-searched stuff of the year.  Here are the highlights:-The Most-Googled Term this year was "Whitney Houston" . . . followed by "Gangnam Style" and "Hurricane Sandy".Whitney was also the Most-Googled Celebrity, followed by Michael Clarke Duncan and One Direction. And Whitney was the Most-Googled Person, followed by Kate Middleton and Amanda Todd, a Canadian teenager who committed suicide after posting a YouTube video about being bullied.Whitney topped one other list:  Most-Googled Deaths.  She was followed by astronaut Neil Armstrong and singer Etta James.-TheTop Image Searches were for One Direction . . . followed by Selena Gomez and the iPhone 5.  (--Which do you think was most masturbated to?  I vote the iPhone.)-The Most-Googled Athletes were, in this order, Jeremy Lin, Michael Phelps and Peyton Manning.The top Movie was "The Hunger Games" . . . followed by "Skyfall" and "Prometheus".The Most-Searched Wedding was that of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel.  They were followed by Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, and Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves.

A New Mexico inmate serving life for rape and murder convinced two guys to strangle and castrate Justin Bieber for him.  They were supposed to do it last month in New York City.  But before they could carry out the plan, the mastermind himself turned them in.  They were both arrested.  The two men were supposed to murder and castrate four people in total, and were offered $2,500 per testicle.

LINDSAY LOHAN'S probation was officially REVOKED yesterday.  And a January 15th hearing has been set to determine whether she'll go to jail.  She could get hit with up to 245 days behind bars.-Lindsay was NOT formally charged for lying to police about her car accident last June.  That's expected to happen at the January 15th hearing.

The chaos surrounding 14-year-old "Modern Family" star ARIEL WINTER calmed down a little bit yesterday.  Or maybe it just got worse.-A deal was reached under which Ariel's dad Glenn Workman was given control over Ariel's finances.  Meanwhile, Ariel's sister Shanelle Gray will continue to be her guardian.-Ariel's mother Chrystal remains completely cut off.  For now.  There'll be a hearing in March to decide whether to keep things this way permanently.  In the meantime though, the family also agreed to get COUNSELING.Ariel was placed in her sister's custody back in October, due to claims that her mom was physically and verbally abusive.



Thyroid surgery left BROOKE BURKE with a scar across her neck.  But it also left her WITHOUT CANCER. She says, quote, "I just got the results back from all of my tests and great news . . . the thyroid cancer has been removed from my body and all my lymph nodes are clear.  So I'm hoping that this is the end of the story."

E! Online has dropped its list of the Top 10 Movies of the Year.  They went with the new Bond flick "Skyfall" as their #1. It's followed, in this order, by "Beasts of the Southern Wild", "The Hunger Games", "The Avengers" and "Life of Pi".

In a new poll by, 46% of women say they watch reality TV "because they like seeing how people with money, fame and status live their lives."  Only 26% of men said they get a kick out of that.  72% of women claim they watch reality TV because they're BORED.  Only 60% of men say the same.

For a while now, there's been talk about stopping advertisers from jacking up the volume on their commercials . . . and now it's finally happening.-Congress recently passed something called the CALM Act, which requires ads to remain within just two decibels of the programming around them.-The rule went into effect last night at midnight. has put out a list of The Top-Earning Women in Music . . . and BRITNEY SPEARS came out on top.  She made an estimated $58 million in their measurement period, which was between May of 2011 and May of 2012.  TAYLOR SWIFT was a close second with $57 million.

Lindsay Lohan is on the verge of losing expensive designer clothes, family heirlooms and potentially embarrassing items ... because she hasn't paid her storage bill and as a result the unit is about to go up on the auction block.

Sources close to Lindsay tell us ... LiLo has fallen behind on paying her monthly bill  ... and now owes roughly $16,000 to the storage company. The account is now delinquent and the locker can't be opened until the balance is paid in full ... and that's not going to happen because Lindsay doesn't have the cash.  As we reported, her financial situation is so desperate the IRS has frozen her bank accounts because of unpaid back taxes. So here's the upshot.  If Lindsay doesn't get a big check for XMAS, her storage unit will be auctioned off this month.  We're told she's reached out to family and friends to front her the money but so far no one is biting







Sarah Palin's son Track is loaded ... TMZ has learned ... saying goodbye to his marriage with his most prized possessions in hand ... guns.Track Palin and his soon-to-be ex-wife Britta filed divorce docs which tick off who gets what.  23-year-old Track -- an Army reservist -- gets the $30,000 Wells Fargo bank account, $500 in tools, and his $1,000 gun collection. 22-year-old Britta gets her $2,500 bank account and her $4,000 in jewelry. TMZ broke the story, the couple filed jointly for divorce in an Alaskan court ... which means they have fully settled their property and custody issues, including child support for their 1-year-old daughter.According to the doc, Track rakes in $42,800 a year -- and has agreed to pay $642 a month in child support. Track and Britta have agreed to split any other child-related expenses, including medical and travel. Britta gets physical custody, and will share legal custody with Track.

Notre Dame and the University of Alabama are taking their beef to a new level -- TMZ has learned, the mayors of both college towns have made a friendly wager in honor of the BCS National Championship ... and a whole lot of BBQ goodness is at stake.If the Fighting Irish win -- Tuscaloosa mayor Walt Maddox will send a heaping portion of coma-inducing grub from Dreamland Bar-B-Que to a rep for South Bend mayor Pete Buttigieg. Maddox has also agreed to donate money to South Bend Big Brothers Big Sisters.But if 'Bama wins -- Buttigieg has agreed to send gourmet chocolates from the South Bend Chocolate Company ... and will donate to the Tuscaloosa Tornado Recovery Fund.

TAYLOR SWIFT is back on top of the "Billboard" chart, selling another 167,000 copies of her album "Red".  Rapper WIZ KHALIFA debuted at #2 with 141,000 copies of "O.N.I.F.C.".  KESHA'S latest disc, "Warrior", opened at #6 with 85,000 copies . . . and "Here's to the Good Times" from the country duo FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE moved 63,000 copies in 10th place.

COURTNEY LOVE was "not amused" that former NIRVANA members DAVE GROHL, KRIST NOVOSELIC and PAT SMEAR reunited for a performance at last night's 12-12-12 benefit, with PAUL MCCARTNEY on vocals.  But she said she would've been cool if it had been JOHN LENNON instead.
