J.J. ABRAMS did a successful reboot of the "Star Trek" franchise. And now sources say he'll be directing the upcoming, seventh "Star Wars" movie. That's not official yet, though, and just a few months ago, he said he wasn't interested
"Entertainment Weekly" says "Dancing with the Stars" offered LANCE ARMSTRONG a spot on the upcoming season . . . but he turned them down. His rep says, "Lance has been offered [a spot on] the show each and every year since its inception. Although flattered, he has passed on their generous offers."

It grossed more than $305.2 MILLION from 88 total shows, which were attended by over 2.2 million fans. It's not HER highest grossing tour though. Lisa D'Amato, who won America's Next Top Model: All-Stars, has suffered major injuries to her face after a freak accident on the set of a movie in Colorado.The 32-year-old model-actress posted stomach-churning photos of her injuries, and recovery, on Instagram. According to D'Amato, she broke her nose in several places and lacerated her lips, forehead and chin."We were just kind of monkeying around," she told People, after wrapping production on an indie movie called Cowboys and Indians. D'Amato explained that she was doing a handstand up against a crew member when they suddenly took a nasty fall. D'Amato landed on her face, crushing her nose, and then the crew member fell on top of her, causing more injuries to D'Amato's face."It was a totally freak accident," D'Amato says. "It wasn't like we were doing back flips off the balcony."
You can call Jabba the Hutt a lot of things (gross, lazy, terrible to sit next to on an airplane), but calling him racist might be a stretch. Austria's Turkish community wants an apology from Lego, accusing the company of using Istanbul's famous Hagia Sophia mosque as a model for Jabba's Palace in one of its Star Wars-themed sets. The Turkish Cultural Community of Austria referred to Jabba himself as a "terrorist" and complained that "the whole scene smacks of racial prejudice and vulgar insinuations against Asians and Orientals as people with … criminal personalities." A Lego spokesperson politely reminded them that the set was based solely on the "fictional content of the Star Wars saga
