Some names that were left off the Oscars' "In Memoriam" segment included Andy Griffith, Phyllis Diller, Larry Hagman, Sherman Hemsley and Conrad Bain.  But it can be argued that they're all primarily TV people.  And last year's Emmys did honor Andy, Phyllis and Sherman.  Larry and Conrad died AFTER the broadcast, so it's pretty much a lock that both of them will make this year's Emmy "In Memoriam" rundown.

The family of "Selena" star Lupe Ontiveros is incredibly upset she was left out of last night's "In Memoriam" presentation at the Oscars ... despite appearing in dozens of major films over the past 30 years. Ontiveros -- who passed away in July 2012 --  had roles in "Real Women Have Curves", "As Good as it Gets", and "The Goonies" ... but is best known for her role as Yolanda Saldivar, the woman who murdered Selena. Ontiveros' son Elias tells TMZ ... the whole family gathered to watch the awards show -- and was "disappointed" Lupe wasn't given her proper due

This year's Oscars were watched by 40.3 million people.  That's up slightly from last year's 39.3 million viewers.

This is kind of scary, but the Academy says that when MICHELLE OBAMA read the Oscar winner for Best Picture, she was the first person who opened that envelope. Yes, that's how it's always done, but wouldn't you think they'd make an exception for the First Lady and screen the damn thing for, like, anthrax or something?  The Secret Service declined to comment.

BEN AFFLECK reportedly shaved off his beard after "Argo" won Best Picture.  A source says, quote, "He did it to mark the end of a chapter.  It had that ceremonial quality to it."

The most-Tweeted Oscar moments were "Argo's" Best Picture win, ADELE singing "Skyfall" and JENNIFER LAWRENCE winning Best Actress

CHRIS BROWN talks about assaulting RIHANNA in a new interview with the British tabloid "The Mirror".  He says, quote, "That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake.  But she loves me . . . what can I say?  I'm forgiven.  But, yes, I worked hard for it."

JANET JACKSON got married last year.  (???)  It's not clear how they kept it a secret this long, but Janet and her husband, a Qatari businessman named Wissam Al Mana, made the announcement yesterday.-They said, quote, "The rumors regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true.  Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony.-"Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favorite children's charities.  We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy."Janet and Wissam had been dating about two years.

CHRISTINA APPLEGATE got married recently in a private ceremony, according to her rep.  The lucky guy is MARTYN LENOBLE, one of the founding members of the band PORNO FOR PYROS.-They've been together four years, and have a 2-year-old daughter.

DENISE RICHARDS got all motherly on CHARLIE SHEEN Sunday night on Twitter.  Charlie was posting pictures of himself hanging out with friends, and Denise told him, quote, "Time to pack it in and GO TO BED you have a 5:30am call . . . 3 1/2 hrs so get your ass up to your room."  And after he posted a picture of himself holding a bottle of wine, she said, quote, "Charles . . . not to be a buzzkill . . . But this is the point where the night can go sideways."

MARK WAHLBERG was offered the part of Captain Kirk's dad in J.J. ABRAMS' first "Star Trek" movie, but he turned it down because he DIDN'T GET IT.  He says, quote, "I tried to read the script, but I couldn't understand the words or dialogue or anything.  Then I saw the movie and I was like, 'Holy [crap] . . . I probably wouldn't pass up an opportunity to work with J.J. again."

This doesn't sound like the BEST idea:  TMZ says ANDY DICK will be on "Dancing with the Stars" this season.  Of course, Andy has been a fairly big trainwreck over the past few years . . . and this show is LIVE . . . so this might not end well.Anyway, Andy was supposedly on the set yesterday, along with "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star LISA Vanderpump and comedian D.L. HUGHLEY.  So if this is true, they're on the show, too.ABC will officially reveal the cast on "Good Morning America" TODAY.  We know football player Jacoby Jones is doing it.  The other rumored celebrities include:  Kellie Pickler, Wynonna Judd, Aly Raisman, Sean Lowe and Victor Ortiz.

Last week, we heard MICHAEL JACKSON'S oldest son, 16-year-old PRINCE MICHAEL, had lined up a gig as a "special correspondent" for "Entertainment Tonight".  Now, he's landed a guest spot on "90210".-Prince Michael will make his acting debut on the show's season finale, which airs sometime in May.  He's playing a character named Cooper . . . "a trauma victim, who bonds with Jessica Stroup's character, Erin Silver."

TRENT REZNOR is bringing NINE INCH NAILS back for a massive tour, which will begin this summer.  There aren't any dates yet.  Trent says the band is "re-inventing itself from scratch," and will include ERIC AVERY from JANE'S ADDICTION and ANDREW BELEW from KING CRIMSON

MUMFORD & SONS' second album, "Babel", won Album of the Year at the Grammys.  But the band says their next album will have a slightly different sound.BEN LOVETT says, quote, "[The first] two albums are like 'brothers.'  [We'd like to] do something that's a 'cousin.'"

The unedited master of Kim Kardashian's sex tape -- Kim K Superstar -- almost burned up over the weekend in a raging fire at Vivid Entertainment ... TMZ has learned. The master -- think of it as the Mona Lisa of sex tapes -- was secured in a safe inside Vivid honcho Steve Hirsch's office.  When the blaze erupted Saturday night ... Hirsch was miles away at an L.A. Clippers game.Hirsch got the 911 call and bailed immediately, because the safe not only contains Kim's tape but every unedited master of every celebrity sex tape in Vivid's stable, including the ones starring Kendra Wilkinson, Pam and Tommy Lee, Jimi Hendrix, Vince Neil, Tom Sizemore, and Chyna.Fear not ... because Hirsch made it just in the nick of time.  The safe was singed but the contents were intact.

Neal Schon just scored a big victory over his ex-wife -- a judge not only shut down her attempt to milk an extra $2,758/month out of the Journey guitarist, but also suggested she get a degree and support herself ... TMZ has learned. According to court documents, Amber Schon wanted Neal to up his $3,000/month in child support to $5,758.90/month. Amber and Neal have 2 minor children ... Apparently, someone hasn't heard of email. In the docs, the judge says Amber could be earning up to $36,000/year on her own ... if she'd just complete her teaching degree -- and added it's not Neal's fault she failed to "obtain any kind of employment."Neal tells TMZ, "My concern is with my children and I'm infuriated they are being exploited and used to extort money from me."

John Enabit, 32, has allegedly been popping up outside the 31-year-old married mom’s home, as well as lurking around other places where she was appearing in the city, and insisting that he needed to talk to her, sources said. When Enabit allegedly showed up near Trump on the Upper East Side at around 7 p.m. Friday, he was charged with stalking.Enabit, who has no previous busts, has since been released on bail.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” author E L James rubbed shoulders with Hollywood at Vanity Fair’s Oscar party, but despite speculation, told us she’s yet to cast the anticipated movie.“We don’t even have a filmmaker . . . so we are still a long way away from casting. I have some ideas . . . but it may not be who people expect,” James said. Sources say agents at Graydon Carter’s bash were “lining up to meet James to pitch their actors” for the hit book trilogy. James told us her next book will not be as racy. “It won’t be nearly so raunchy — and I will probably write it under another name,” she quipped.

Russell Brand hasn't been shy about his checkered past; he even wrote openly about his sex and drug addictions in his memoirs "My Booky Wook" and "Booky Wook 2." And in a web chat with British celebrity news site Heatworld last week, Brand hinted that he will likely touch on his 2011 divorce from Katy Perry in a future book."I will write more Booky Wooks, I love writing those Booky Wooks and there's a lot to cover," he said. "Maybe I'll wait until I get married again or have more children before I write any more. You can't write things about your life and not include things that happened in your life."Brand filed for divorce from Perry in December 2011 after only 14 months of marriage. They finalized the divorce in July 2012. Since the split, Brand has been romantically linked to a number of woman including Spice Girl Geri Halliwell and Jordana Brewster's younger sister Isabella. Perry has been dating John Mayer on and off since they were first spotted together in July 2012.
