Sofia Vergara is planning to have a baby via surrogate with her fiancé, Nick Loeb, Page Six has exclusively learned. The beautiful “Modern Family” star has asked a close friend to act as a surrogate for their child, and we’re told the process is in its extremely early stages. A source close to the Latin beauty told us, “The child will be biologically Sofia and Nick’s baby, and she has selected a surrogate — who is a very close girlfriend — to carry the baby.“ A procedure has taken place, and Sofia and Nick will find out in a few weeks if it was successful, if the surrogate is pregnant, and if they will become parents.” We’re told Vergara, 40, has long hoped for a sister or a brother for her 21-year-old son, Manolo, but her career is currently skyrocketing. She is filming a new season of “Modern Family,” and has been working hard to promote her Kmart clothing line.

While filming the upcoming LIBERACE movie "Behind the Candelabra", MATT DAMON and MICHAEL DOUGLAS tore through a doggy-style scene . . . if you'll pardon the expression.  Matt says, quote, "The scene where I'm behind him and going at him, we did that in one take.  We do it.  Cut.  There's a long pause.  And then you just hear [the director] go, 'Well . . . I have no notes.'"  The movie airs on HBO in May.

Earlier this week, MILEY CYRUS denied that she'd called off her wedding to LIAM HEMSWORTH.  But last night she was spotted out in Los Angeles . . . MINUS HER ENGAGEMENT RING.

DEMI MOORE filed a response to ASHTON KUTCHER'S divorce papers, and she wants SPOUSAL SUPPORT.  She's also asking that Ashton pay her legal fees. According to TMZ, Demi has WAY more money than Ashton.  Although Ashton did make $24 million last year alone, thanks to "Two and a Half Men". -Since Demi is already set for life, it's not likely a judge will award her any support.  But it probably felt good on some level just to petition for it.

KELLY OSBOURNE suffered a seizure in front of a live studio audience while taping her show "Fashion Police" yesterday.  Witnesses say Kelly turned to guest host MELISSA RIVERS and said, quote, "I don't feel good" . . . then fell out of her chair to the floor and started shaking.  Melissa went down to the floor to help her . . . and an audience member who happened to be some kind of emergency responder jumped in as well.  Fellow host JOAN RIVERS later said Kelly is "fine".

CHRIS BROWN was caught on video blowing up at the valet parking guy at a bowling alley over a TEN DOLLAR CHARGE.  Chris got right in the guy's face and told him, quote, "Gimme my [effing] keys!  [Eff] ten dollars!"  He added, quote, "We gonna turn this whole spot up . . . I promise you."  Luckily, one of Chris' boys paid the money, so Chris didn't have to "turn the whole spot up."

After that bowling alley incident, CHRIS BROWN and his posse hit a club, where Chris took the microphone and told the crowd, quote, "[Eff] Drake!", before launching into a mini-concert.  REGGIE BUSH even jumped onstage and acted as his hype man.

It's a prequel to the 1939 classic "The Wizard of Oz", about a small town illusionist who's sucked into a tornado and transported to Oz, where he manages to convince everyone he's a powerful wizard.James Franco plays the wizard, Michelle Williams is Glinda the Good Witch, and the other two witches are played by MilaKunis and Rachel Weisz.   It's directed by "Spider-Man" director Sam Raimi. The Kansas scenes are all in black and white, just like in the original movie, and everything switches to color once he lands in Oz.  And of course, what Oz movie would be complete without flying monkeys and a green-skinned wicked witch.

CARRIE FISHER'S rep says she was just "joking" when she said she was involved in the upcoming "Star Wars" movies . . . but GEORGE LUCAS hints that she, MARK HAMILL and HARRISON FORD could all be back, because he'd been talking with them about a new trilogy before the Disney sale.

Joy Behar is leaving "The View," she told Deadline on Thursday night.Behar, a longtime standup comic and an unapologetic liberal, has been on the ABC talk show since 1997. She said she would leave in August, when her contract expires. Her exit leaves Barbara Walters as the show's only remaining original co-host.“It seemed like the right time,” Behar told Deadline. “You reach a point when you say to yourself, ‘Do I want to keep doing this?’ There are other things on my plate I want to do — I’ve been writing a play, I’ve been neglecting my standup.”Behar has had shows on Current TV and HLN, and she has met with Jeff Zucker, the new head of CNN who is reportedly looking to add a comedy show, In a statement to Deadline, ABC said, “Joy Behar has been instrumental in the success of The View from the very beginning. We wish her all the best in this next chapter, and are thrilled that we have her for the remainder of the season.”"The View" has not had a cast change since 2007, when Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd arrived. It has weathered many storms — most notably, the extremely acrimonious departures of Rosie O'Donnell and Star Jones. Behar, however, has been a constant.

The first trailer for "The Hangover Part 3" has hit the web.

JUDGE REINHOLD will reprise his old role as Billy Rosewood on the upcoming "Beverly Hills Cop" TV show.  As expected, EDDIE MURPHY has also signed on.-For now, Judge is only scheduled to make a small cameo in the pilot . . . but this could mean that, like Eddie, he may be involved as a supporting character who wouldn't appear in every episode. There's no word if any other cast members are coming onboard . . . like John Ashton, who played Judge's partner, John Taggart.

Earlier this week, we heard that 73-year-old VALERIE HARPER has inoperable brain cancer, and has as little as a month-and-a-half to live.  Now, she's booked her first TV appearance to talk about it.(--She just made it public on Wednesday . . . but she was diagnosed back on January 15th.  At that time, her doctors said she had three to six months left.) Valerie is going to be on Monday's episode of "The Doctors" . . . alongside her husband, and her former "Mary Tyler Moore Show" co-stars Cloris Leachman and Ed Asner.

JUSTIN BIEBER COLLAPSED during his concert in London last night.  With a few songs left to go, he felt lightheaded and went backstage.  Supposedly, he fainted . . . and needed to be treated with oxygen.  Eventually, he came back out, did four more songs, and went to the hospital.  Don't worry though, it sounds like he's OK.

Demi Moore wants Ashton Kutcher to show her the money. More than a year after they split and nearly three months after Kutcher filed for divorce, the actress finally responded Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, seeking to have her ex pay both spousal support and attorney fees.Moore, 50, citing the usual "irreconcilable differences" for the split, is now headed for a possible courtroom battle with Kutcher, 35, over the financial terms to end their six-year marriage. Although no children are at issue, the financial stakes are high: Kutcher last year reportedly earned $24 million from the CBS hit Two and a Half Men. Since their break-up, Kutcher has been dating his That '70s Show costar Mila Kunis, prompting stories that Moore was jealous. Kutcher took Kunis home to Iowa over Christmas to spend time with his family.

It’s back to the baby name drawing board for Alec and Hilaria Thomas Baldwin — turns out they’re expecting a daughter.“Alec and I are overjoyed that we are going to be welcoming a little girl into our lives,” the yoga instructor tells EXTRA, adding that with two female dogs plus two daughters — the actor’s elder child, Ireland, is 17 — the Orphans star will really be outnumbered.Due in late summer, Thomas Baldwin explained that her husband had recently pitched the name Massimo for a potential son.“It’s a lovely name, I just don’t know,” the mom-to-be said. “That’s a very big name for a very little baby.”In the meantime, Baldwin, 54, is busy preparing for his Broadway role, as well as procuring pineapple for his pregnant wife. As it currently stands, the baby may not be named until she’s born, anyway
