When SELENA GOMEZ was seven, her dad realized that he could get extra attention from the Hooters waitresses by bringing her along.  Selena says, quote, "He started noticing that when I would come, with my little pigtails, all the waitresses would be like, 'Hey!'  So he ended up spending time with me but with all those cute girls coming over.  And that became our thing."

MILEY CYRUS was spotted without her engagement ring on Thursday . . . the second consecutive night she left home without it. Meanwhile, the paparazzi tried to harass JANUARY JONES about her alleged affair with LIAM HEMSWORTH at Los Angeles International Airport, and she ignored them. So far, Miley has pretty much stuck to her vow to discuss nothing but her music on Twitter.

At a club early Thursday morning, CHRIS BROWN gave the crowd tips on keeping a woman in line.  He SANG, quote, "Don't make me have to tell you again, that that's my [kitty] baby!  It is mine, baby, babe, mine.  So you better not give it away!"  Then he said, quote, "So every person in this mother[effin'] building, if you got a bad [B-word] you better say that to her.  'Cause she might [eff] another [N-word]."

Justin Bieber flipped out on a paparazzi  on Friday, while leaving his London hotel.  Justin apparently shoved the guy, and he started cussing Justin out.  So Justin lunged at him.  But Justin's security held him back, and he eventually got into his car and took off.  Meanwhile, Justin canceled a gig in Portugal due to, "unforeseen circumstances." Justin later Tweeted, "Ahhhhh!  Rough morning.  Trying to feel better for this show tonight but let the paps get the best of me." Then he added, "Sometimes when people r shoving cameras in your face all day and yelling the worst thing possible at u...well I'm human.  Rough week."  "Not gonna let them get the best of me again.  Gonna get focused on this show tonight.  Adrenaline is high now.  Gonna put it on the stage…Only way someone can break u is if u let them."

RIHANNA says she's suffering from laryngitis . . . and because of that, she was forced to cancel her show in Boston last night.  The show will be rescheduled.Rihanna Tweeted, quote, "Boston:  This is the hardest thing for me to deal with!  I feel like we've been waiting on this day forever, and I'm hurt that I let you down.-"I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!!  I'm so embarrassed about this!  Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!"For now, she's still scheduled to perform in Baltimore tomorrow night.

Holly Madison tells E! that she and her boyfriend Pasquale Rotella have named their newborn baby girl RAINBOW AURORA ROTELLA!

Friskies is making Grumpy Cat the star of its latest commercial campaign, betting the internet sensation's well-known pout will help sell cat food.

 

 

 

 

 

According to yesterday's "Parade" magazine, TAYLOR SWIFT made more last year than ANNE HATHAWAY and BRAD PITT combined.Taylor made $57 million in 2012.  Anne "only" made $10 million, despite being in two major movies, "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Les Miserables" . . . and winning an Oscar.  Meanwhile, Brad made $35.5 million.-Here's somebody else who made more than Brad and Anne:  JUSTIN BIEBER.  He came close to Taylor with $55 million . . . an estimated $6,261 PER HOUR. -"NCIS" star MARK HARMON also made some major scratch.  He banked $38 million, and is probably due for a raise, meaning he'll take home even more this year.-Here, in no particular order, are a few other celeb salaries from 2012 . . .

--CHANNING TATUM:  $15 million.

--BLAKE SHELTON:  $20 million.

--ADELE:  $32 million.

 --ALEC BALDWIN:  $15 million.

--TOM BRADY,  $23 million.

"Oz the Great and Powerful" had a great weekend at the box office.  The movie easily had the biggest debut of the year, making $80.3 million in its first three days of release.-It's also the third-biggest March debut ever, behind "The Hunger Games", which opened with $152.5 million last year, and "Alice in Wonderland", which debuted to $116.1 million in 2010.The only other big release this weekend, COLIN FARRELL's romantic thriller "Dead Man Down", fell flat making just $5.4 million in 4th place.  Here are this week's Top 10 movies:

1.)  (NEW)  "Oz The Great and Powerful", $80.3 million.

2.)  "Jack the Giant Slayer", $10 million.  Up to $43.8 million in its 2nd week.

- JIM CARREY says the "Dumb & Dumber" sequel is ON.  He says the script is done and he and JEFF DANIELS are, quote, "raring to go."  It does NOT have the official green light yet, but it sounds like that's just a formality.

- There's a sequel to "Horrible Bosses" in the works.  JASON BATEMAN, JASON SUDEIKIS and CHARLIE DAY are all coming back . . . and JAMIE FOXX is a possibility.  No word on JENNIFER ANISTON.

 -Even before "Oz the Great and Powerful" made more than $80 million in its opening weekend, Disney was getting the sequel ready.  And MILA KUNIS says, quote, "We're all signed on for sequels."

 -KEVIN SMITH has begun writing the script for "Clerks 3".  He claims he got out of bed at 4:20 to start working on it, and he says it'll be, quote, "the best film I'll ever make."

Last week, Joy Behar announced she was leaving "The View", and now "Us" magazine reports that Elizabeth Hasselbeck won't be back either. Supposedly, Elisabeth is being pushed out, because she isn't popular with the audience.  There's been no direct response from ABC or Elisabeth but a rep for the show says, "She's a valued member of 'The View', and has a long term contract." The rumor is that Brooke Shields will join the show.

Early in his run on "American Idol" last year, PHILLIP PHILLIPS had the most Twitter followers, and he ended up winning the whole thing.  So far this year, ANGIE MILLER is leading the way on Twitter.  She has more than 39,000 followers, which is about 17,000 more than LAZARO ARBOS, who has the second-most.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE responded to KANYE WEST'S "Suit & Tie" criticism while performing on "SNL" this weekend.  He changed the lyrics from, quote, "Aww, [S-word] so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit" . . . to, quote, "My hit's so sick, got rappers acting dramatic."

Justin Timberlake joined the most exclusive club in New York when he hosted "Saturday Night Live" this week, the Five-Timers Club. Entering the ranks of Paul Simon, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and many more, Timberlake was welcomed into the lounge where some of the most beloved hosts of the show seem to just hang out and make current cast members fight for their amusement. The monologue turned into a who's-who of SNLs past, featuring Simon, Martin, Dan Aykroyd (who was relegated to tending bar since he's only hosted the show once), Chevy Chase, Martin Short, Alec Baldwin, Hanks, and Candice Bergen.

14-year-old "Modern Family" star RICO RODRIGUEZ has become SUPER RICO.  That's Spanish for SUPER RICH.  Roughly.  (???)  (--He plays SOFIA VERGARA'S son Manny on the show.)He just re-negotiated his contract . . . and scored a deal worth $75,000 per episode, or about $1.8 million per year.  That begins with the current season, Season Four.Plus, Rico will get a $10,000 per episode bonus for each of the next four seasons, meaning he'll be making $115,000 per episode if "Modern Family" makes it to Season Eight.  That's about $2.8 MILLION for the year

Kelly Osbourne had quite the medical scare on Thursday after she was hospitalized following a seizure. And although nothing has been diagnosed, doctors are telling TMZ that Osbourne could be an epileptic. Sources connected with the 28-year-old "Fashion Police" star tell TMZ that the seizure was far more serious than first suspected and doctors are still running tests. It's possible it was an isolated incident, but professionals are also saying that there's a chance Osbourne has epilepsy. Insiders also reveal that she'll be in the hospital for a few more days. Meanwhile, Osbourne's mom Sharon Osbourne took to Twitter yesterday to reassure fans that her daughter was OK.

Jennifer Love Hewitt knows what her best assets are and she is willing to protect them. The 34-year-old actress admitted to USA Today that she would consider getting her breasts insured for somewhere around the $5 million range. "I need, like, an insurance invitation. If somebody was like, 'Hey, you know what? We would like to insure your boobs for $2.5 million dollars,' I'd be like, 'Do it. Love it! Why not?'" Hewitt, who wears a 36C cup size, joked about her boobs, according to Us Weekly. Pointing to her chest she added, "These things right here are worth $5 million!"Hewitt has previously admitted that her breasts are her favorite body part. "It's horrible to say, but I like my boobs," she told Maxim magazine last year. "They've always served me well. They're good."

Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil was rushed to the hospital today (March 10), his bandmates revealed on Twitter. Neil, 52, fell ill with suspected kidney stones during a performance in Australia and had to be taken to the emergency room to receive care
