Are Lindsay and Samantha over?
We still don't know for sure if LINDSAY LOHAN was ever in a relationship with her friend, Samantha Ronson. But if she was, it looks like it might be over now. Witnesses say the two of them got into a huge fight at a restaurant over the weekend. And on Sunday, Lindsay was seen moving her stuff out of Samantha's LA house.
'Dirt' gets dumped
Courteney Cox Arquette is out of a job now that FX canceled her raunchy series Dirt. The Friends alum told TV Guide the show wouldn't be picked up for a third season. However, she's not too worried about finding more work (as if she needs the money). "We're developing all kinds of stuff right now," she said of her husband and producing partner David Arquette. "We'll be producing more stuff together, for sure."
Kate won't kiss and tell
Kate Hudson doesn't care how much people gossip about her romance -- if that's what it is -- with Lance Armstrong. She's not going to say a word. As she explained "The No. 1 thing I’ve learned is to discuss those things only causes more problems. Everything's always misconstrued, so it's better to just let people speculate."

They refused to talk to reporters.

Gifford 'afraid' of plastic surgery results
Kathie Lee Gifford talks to July's Ladies' Home Journal, out today, about plastic surgery: "I've gotten several consultations for face-lifts and have not gone through with them. I'm afraid I'm going to look freakish. I might do it someday, but I don't think it's anybody's business when or if I do. … There are people who are addicted. You can hate your nose, hips, rear end, you can hate your boobies -- and still love yourself. "

Autism will get personal attention starting June 24 in a story line on NBC's soap opera Days of Our Lives. It will be based on the experiences of the series' head writer, Dena Higley, who, with her husband, Mark, has an autistic child. NBC is joining Autism Speaks to raise awareness with the story line. In the summer arc, Dr. Lexie Carver (Renee Jones) and Commissioner Abe Carver (James Reynolds) are told their 3-year-old son, Theo, has autism. The Higleys' son Connor, who was diagnosed with autism at age 3, is now 19 and recently graduated from high school.
Andrea Mitchell apologizes for 'redneck' remark
Another day, another media slip. MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell apologized today for calling southwest Virginia "real redneck" country. Mitchell made the comment last Thursday as she referred to "interesting images" of Sen. Barack Obama appearing with Sen. Mark Warner in southwest Virginia. "This is real redneck, sort of...um, bordering on Appalachia country," she said. "This is not the Northern Virginia, sort of, high-tech corridor. These are not voters he would logically be gravitating to." After being busted by the Bristol Herald Courier, Mitchell, toward the end of her 1 p.m. ET hour today, said, "I owe an apology to the good people of Bristol, Virginia, for something stupid that I said."

A chance New York encounter ...
Talk about an unlikely match-up. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and Sex And The City actress Sarah Jessica Parker ended up outside the Bloomberg Building in New York City on May 29, reports USA TODAY's Joan Biskupic. Both were having a cigarette near the front entrance. Parker, 43, needed a light and asked the 72-year-old conservative justice for a match. Parker had been at the building for an interview with Charlie Rose. Scalia was there for a symposium with Bloomberg corporate officials. "It was a chance meeting," says Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg. "He didn't know who she was until they began speaking. They never talked about her work."
New York magazine has provided a much more … well, sexier … account, saying Scalia "emerged from a nearby Town Car and rushed over to praise the star. 'He was absolutely gushing, telling her how much he loved her show and how excited he was to see the movie,' says a witness. 'Finally, he asked her if he could bum a cigarette.' " Arberg, who spoke to the justice, says he did not bum a cigarette and did not comment about her show or movie. Does that mean that Scalia, a deeply religious Catholic who often injects his opinions with a certain moral tone, is not a fan of Sex And The City? Arberg had no comment.
Mike Wallace on the mend
CBS newsman Mike Wallace, 90, may actually be done with TV. He's in a hospital recuperating after a recent fall in his New York home, reports U.S. News. Word was she was lurking backstage. Billy Ray told the crowd he wrote Ready, Set, Don’t Go for Miley and he introduced his daughter ... but it was Brandi, not Miley.
Anderson Cooper 'boo' shirt is hot seller
Maybe this is a way to save journalism: T-shirts. CNN.com is putting headlines on T-shirts and selling them. After Barack Obama’s victory speech Tuesday, “Obama Makes History” became the site’s top-seller. Second-top-seller: “Anderson Cooper, ‘you’re not my boo.’ ” The headline emerged Tuesday as Cooper pressed Democratic superdelegate Donna Brazile for details of a recent conversation with Obama. “Anderson, you’re not my boo,” she answered playfully, reports The New York Times, leading Cooper to say, “I want to be your boo,” before adding, “I don’t even know what it means.” (According to urbandictionary.com, the term refers to a boyfriend or girlfriend.) No. 3 T-shirt headline: "1 in 3 workers hung over in office." (Guess the odds are pretty good that you're nursing a hangover as you read this.)

Gershon: 'You can't believe anything you read'
Gina Gershon slammed 'irresponsible journalists" on Live with Regis and Kelly as she denied any sort of implied relationship with Bill Clinton, as she says was suggested in a Vanity Fair article. "I haven't really talked about this," she told Mario Lopez, who was filling in for Regis Philbin. "It is such a crazy, outrageous lie that really has nothing to do with me." She said, yes, she had met Clinton "three different times," at various places, but "this disturbed me on so many levels I felt I had to speak the truth. ... Vanity Fair never did fact checking," she said. "But the bigger picture (is) ... we're in a crucial election. I think everyone wants to make a good decision. But how do you do that if you can't believe what you read? You really can't believe anything you read anymore. ... These irresponsible journalists are not accountable for anything. There's no accountability, and I just think it's wrong." The audience applauded. Said Kelly: Feel better? "Yes," said Gershon.
Bill Murray's wife has her own troubles
The other side to the Bill Murray split is surfacing.
