Kelly Clarkson’s New Album Was Like Therapy After Filing For Divorce
- Kelly Clarkson’s next album will be her ninth studio album and her most personal to date. The album comes on the heels of the breakup from her husband of seven years Brandon Blackstock.
- “The whole record is basically every emotion you experience from the beginning of a relationship to the end of what it is now,” Clarkson tells Sunday Toast With Willie Geist.
- Kelly says the album is very “honest” and has been “very therapeutic” for her. Clarkson’s new album will be her first since 2017’s “Meaning of Life.”
