‘Avatar 3’ Almost Done Filming
- Hey Avatar fans, you’ll be happy to hear that the third installment in the franchise is nearly done filming.
- James Cameron revealed the progress of the Avatar franchise during a video chat with Arnold Schwarzenegger for the Austrian World Summit.
- “COVID hit us like it did everybody,” James Cameron said as he talked about when the films would be released. “We lost about four and a half months of production. As a result of that, we’ve rolled around one more full year for a release in December of 2022.”
- Cameron went on to say that once Avatar 2 is released in 2022 they will begin finishing Avatar 3. Arnold tried to get details on the storyline of the film but Cameron wasn’t budging.
