- Many Jeopardy! fans are mourning the death of host Alex Trebek, whose death was announced on Sunday.
- Ellen DeGeneres chimed in on Twitter, saying, “Alex Trebek hosted Jeopardy for 36 years. What an incredible career and remarkable life. I’m sending love to his family and fans.”
- Actress Jamie Lee Curtis has said, “The answer is….. THANK YOU! Alex Trebek. You were grace and guts and humor and deep love.”
- Former Jeopardy! champion Ken Jennings looked back fondly with this time with Trebek, saying, “Alex wasn’t just the best ever at what he did. He was also a lovely and deeply decent man.”
- Trebek passed away after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 80.
