Jen Aniston: Going Back to ‘Friends’ Set Was a ‘Sucker Punch in the Heart’
- As all of us are feeling the nostalgia of going back to the Central Park apartment where Friends held us captive for ten years, the sitcom stars reminisce on the popular sitcom and what it was like coming back for the “Friends” reunion special on HBO Max.
- “It was a sucker punch in the heart in a way,” Jennifer Aniston said in a recent interview.
- Aniston says the cast was, “very naive in what we were expecting” and “It almost felt like time had stopped and we time traveled. And there’s good in that, and then there’s heartbreak in that.”
- It had been 17 years since the cast returned to the set, which was very emotional. Lisa Kudrow explained during the HBO Max event that the series wrapped up nicely and there was no interest in “unraveling the happy ending” many felt with the reunion special.
