Britney Spears Deletes Instagram Account After Thanking #FreeBritney Supporters
- Britney Spears deactivated her Instagram account after thanking her #FreeBritney supporters for their help.
- Prior to deactivating her account, she posted an article titled, “Infusing education with heart,” which discusses the education system. “I had to repost this so you can see the whole article! Growing up in a world where basically almost everything I did was controlled by someone else… I hope this message gets to people who have been confused or manipulated by a system!” Britney wrote.
- She also posted a final message that read: “Don’t worry folks … just taking a little break from social media to celebrate my engagement!!!! I’ll be back soon”
- The deactivation of Britney’s Instagram account comes two days after the announcement of her engagement with longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari, and the news of her father filing a petition to end her conservatorship after 13 years. The next hearing happens on September 29th.
