- Ben Affleck. He actually had two shots at an Oscar nomination for The Tender Bar and for The Last Duel.
- Leonardo DiCaprio. This would have been his 7th Oscar nomination.
- Jennifer Hudson. Did not receive a nomination for Best Actress or Best Song for Respect
