- “I have an album coming out this year. I swear. I know I’ve been talking about it,” Clarkson told fans during the video, adding that there will be “a really cool way we’re releasing it.”
- The singer admitted that it “took a minute” to get to the point where she was ready to release the new project. Clarkson has previously shared that the album is inspired by her recent divorce from her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock. She explained in the new video that she “had to get past it in order to talk about it.”
