SPCA Westchester Takes in 11 Dogs Found in Parked Van in Cortlandt Manor

Please consider donating to the SPCA Westchester and their newest group of rescues.

Last week, 11 dogs were found crammed in dirty cages inside a parked van. SPCA Westchester’s Human Law Enforcement Unit received a call and went to investigate the van, which was parked in Cortlandt Manor. All the dogs were living in filth and had matted hair, and were completely scared. The SPCA took the dogs to their Cody’s clinic.

As you can imagine, many of these dogs are in rough shape from neglect and suffering. The SPCA Westchester also discovered that these dogs came from a puppy mill in Pennsylvania. Most of them are designer breeds.

Donations will support the SPCA’s Humane Law Enforcement Unit.
