Drake’s reign over the music industry doesn’t appear to be slowing down; in fact, the rap sensation recently hit a big streaming milestone on Spotify. According to reports, “Search and Rescue” by Drake has received more than 100 million streams. Drake is now the first artist in the history of the streaming service to achieve 80 billion streams, according to Chart Data. Drake’s musical prowess has enabled him to break streaming records before. With more than 8.6 billion on-demand streams in 2021, he was named the most streamed artist in the US. Drake was responsible for one out of every 131 streams in 2021, which makes that figure even greater.
