One of our favorite winter traditions is back! Bear Mountain Ice Rink officially opens for the season this Saturday, November 7th!

And seriously, is there a better way to get into the holiday spirit than skating outdoors at Bear Mountain?

Picture it…crisp mountain air, beautiful scenery, hanging out with friends and family, and maybe a few hilarious attempts at staying upright on the ice!

Hey, nobody said you had to be good at skating to have fun!

Here's when you can hit the ice:

• Fridays: 10 AM – 9:30 PM

• Saturdays: 10 AM – 9:30 PM

• Sundays: 10 AM – 7:30 PM

• Where: Bear Mountain Ice Rink 3020 Seven Lakes Drive, Bear Mountain, NY

A quick heads-up before you grab those skates!

Since it's an outdoor rink, Mother Nature gets the final say. Skating is weather permitting, so check bearmountainicerink.org before heading out.

And one more thing…there's ongoing construction at Bear Mountain, which means parking near the rink is limited. Plan ahead!

Whether you're planning a family outing, a cute date night, or just looking for something fun to do with your friends, Bear Mountain is a great way to kick off the winter season!

And if you're like me, there's a pretty good chance you'll spend more time trying NOT to fall than actually skating!
