That day is Hudson Valley Gives.

This 24-hour giving event unites hundreds of nonprofits across seven counties with one shared mission: Give Where You Live.

Created by the Community Foundation of Orange, Sullivan and Rockland (CFOSR), Hudson Valley Gives helps nonprofit organizations throughout Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland, and Westchester Counties connect with donors online while raising awareness for the life-changing work they do every single day.

And the impact keeps growing.

Last year alone, Hudson Valley Gives raised more than $1 million for local nonprofits. Since the initiative began, the community has helped generate over $5.5 million to support organizations providing essential services, educational programs, healthcare resources,

Now, in 2026, Hudson Valley Gives is gearing up for its 11th anniversary, and organizers are hoping to make this the biggest year yet.

What makes this event so important is that every dollar stays local. Every donation directly supports organizations working right here in our own backyard — helping Hudson Valley families, children, veterans, seniors, shelters, schools, and community programs continue their missions.

Whether you can donate $5 or $500, every contribution matters.
