If you’re already counting down the days until spooky season, Universal Studios Hollywood just gave horror fans a huge reason to get excited.
Halloween Horror Nights is officially returning this fall, and one of the biggest attractions will be a brand-new haunted house inspired by the fifth and final season of Stranger Things.
According to Universal, guests will step directly into the eerie town of Hawkins and come face-to-face with some of the series’ most terrifying creatures. Expect encounters with Demogorgons, dark twists from the Upside Down, and a showdown against the show's ultimate villain, Vecna.
For longtime fans of the hit series, this could be one of the closest experiences yet to actually living inside the world of Stranger Things. Universal says the attraction will feature immersive environments and cinematic scares designed to recreate key moments from the show's final chapter.
And because no trip to Hawkins would be complete without a little nostalgia, guests will also be able to shop for exclusive '80s-inspired merchandise throughout the park.
Halloween Horror Nights runs from Sept. 3 through Nov. 1, and Universal promises more haunted house announcements are still on the way. That means horror fans can expect plenty more nightmares before opening night arrives.
Whether you're a die-hard Stranger Things fan or just looking for a reason to scream your way through the fall season, this latest reveal is shaping up to be one of the must-see attractions of Halloween 2026.
So the real question is: Are you brave enough to face Vecna?
