The Newburgh Farmers’ Market returns outdoors for the 2026 summer season beginning Saturday, May 2, bringing fresh food, local vendors, and community programming back to the Safe Harbors Green. The market will run every Saturday through November 21 (excluding July 4), from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Shoppers can expect a vibrant mix of seasonal produce, eggs, baked goods, prepared foods, and handmade products from local farms and makers across the Hudson Valley. From peak summer harvests to early fall favorites, the market offers a consistent, high-quality selection rooted in regional agriculture and small business.
The summer season will feature weekly live music through the Musical Markets series, along with a rotating lineup of workshops, kids activities, and community events designed to create a welcoming space to shop, gather, and connect. Signature collaborations like Spring Into Newburgh and Farmers Market Week will activate the downtown and bring together multiple organizations, businesses, and audiences throughout the season.
New this year, the market is launching the Summer Harvest Card, a loyalty program that rewards shoppers for showing up week after week. Customers can collect stamps throughout the season for a chance to win a raffle prize, encouraging continued support of local vendors.
The market will also continue its Food Scraps Drop-Off Program, offering residents a free and accessible way to divert food waste while supporting local composting efforts. Additional programming will focus on sustainability, food education, and community engagement.
