Apple announced a new accessory called the "iPhone Pocket," which is part-sock . . . part-fashion accessory . . . part-utilitarian . . . and part-ridiculous.
It's an iPhone-sized knitted pouch (or "pocket," I guess), that you can sling around your shoulder, hang on your arm, or wrap around your waist.
The idea is that you can slip your iPhone inside, and carry it around safely . . . without needing to have a pants pocket, purse, or backpack.
When you see photos of this thing, it almost seems like it's an April Fools' Day joke, but it's 100% real. They're serious about it . . . and the price-tag.
There are two sizes: One with a small strap for $150 and a large strap for a whopping $230.
