Okay, Miley Cyrus is entering a WHOLE new era, and apparently even the last name didn’t make the cut.
Miley has officially announced her brand-new album, “Bass Persuades,” dropping September 18th. The 10-track album features some pretty interesting collaborations, including Model/Actriz and Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow.
And according to Miley, this album is going to take listeners on an emotional roller coaster — from a “heart full” to “heartache” and basically everything that happens in between.
But the music isn’t the only thing getting a makeover.
Miley is now being billed simply as “Miley.” Yep. No Cyrus. Just Miley. And honestly, when you're Miley Cyrus, maybe you don't really need the last name anyway.
She shared the news on Instagram, writing:
“Thank you for being a part of making my wildest dreams come true. I sincerely hope you love this album.”
And she's already planning a big return to the stage.
Miley will perform two special shows at the Hollywood Bowl on October 16th and 18th, and it looks like fans can expect her to perform “Bass Persuades” in its entirety.
Tickets go on sale to the general public September 10th at 10AM Pacific.
