Netflix Raising U.S. Prices For Second Time In Less Than Two Years

As Fat Joe would say, "Nothing can stop me I'm all the way up!" Netflix has increased the prices of its cheapest, ad-supported tier from $7.99 to $8.99 per month. The standard and premium plans have also seen price hikes, with the standard plan going from $17.99 to $19.99 per month and the premium plan from $24.99 to $26.99 per month.

Netflix has been making various updates to its platform, including venturing into video podcasts, live events, and revamping its interface on TV and mobile.

The company nearly acquired Warner Bros. studio and HBO Max but was outbid by Paramount.

Netflix reported earning $1.5 billion from its advertising business in 2025 and hinted at introducing more types of ads in the future.

I feel like I have cable TV again with all the streaming rates being increased. When will ONE streaming servoce step up, set a standard price and include ALL other streaming??? Someone make THAT happen!
