NBC Universal held its upfront presentation, which included the unveiling of its fall schedule, and several announcements about upcoming Peacock projects . . . including a series based in the "Fast & Furious" universe for Peacock. Vin Diesel made the announcement. He actually said there are FOUR shows in the works . . . but NBC would only cop to having one in development.
Also brewing at Peacock: "Crystal Lake", the "Friday the 13th" prequel series starring Linda Cardellini, premieres on October 15th.
The crime thriller "The Good Daughter", starring Rose Byrne, Meghann Fahy, and Brendan Gleeson, drops on November 12th.
"Dig", an archaeological comedy starring Amy Poehler and Hugh Laurie, also hits Peacock in November . . . and the "Office" spinoff "The Paper" kicks off its second season in September.
New shows on the NBC schedule this fall include the comedy "Newlyweds", starring real-life spouses Tea Leoni and Tim Daly, with Jamie Lee Curtis as a recurring guest star . . .
And a law enforcement drama starring Peter Krause called "Line of Fire".
FALL lineup is shaping up real good so far.
