The latest "food hack" to go viral on social media is:  Vanilla ice cream . . . DOUSED IN RED WINE. 

That's it:  You take a bowl of ice cream, and then pour some red wine over it, however much you want. This bizarre combination has been kicking around the internet for a while. So if you follow a lot of SOCCER MOM INFLUENCERS you may have seen it before, but it's really picking up steam again for the holidays.

But . . . why?

Many videos do NOT make it seem appetizing.  One reviewer struggled as she powered through several bites . . . before calling it "gross," "absolutely disgusting," and adding, "would not recommend." It seems like you're just ruining your ice cream . . . and your wine . . . and but there's a lot of hype suggesting it's THE dessert of the holidays, so maybe there's something to it.

Doesn't seem like something I would wanna try BUT then again maybe...just maybe ;)
